Harnessing your inner voice with self-love and kindness can bring a new level of confidence and awareness as we pursue happiness. Happiness seems so fleeting in life and our mediocre moments commonly overtake are awareness. However, when we start tuning our mindset we can start recognizing the hidden happy in our daily lives. The more we focus on a certain aspect in life the more we see it.

Our words are powerful. How we talk about ourselves impacts our beliefs. 

To get a better idea or baseline on where you are with your inner dialogue or self-talk, ask yourself:

  • What are your beliefs around your self-worth?
  • What is your inner dialogue when you are feeling down?
  • When you make a mistake what do you tell yourself?
  • When you achieve something how do you respond internally? 
  • Are you acknowledging your triumphs as much if not more than your failures?
 

Being kinder to ourselves in our moments of growth is important to nurturing self- love and self-esteem for ourselves. Remember, it takes time to create a new habit and this holds true for changing our inner dialogue. So be patient with yourself as you shift from negative self-talk to positive self-talk.
