Frequently Asked Questions about Therapy for Anxiety:

Yes, virtual therapy can help you learn ways to cope. Therapy can help you identify what is triggering your anxiety and ways to help calm the nervous response in the moment.

This can vary as every person and situation is different. I tailor my approach to you and your needs in counseling. Some clients may experience relief within 8 to 12 sessions while others might discover deeper roots/causes to the anxiety in therapy and stay longer to work through new issues that come up in the process.

If anxiety is interfering in your relationships, work, or self-esteem, going to counseling can help you manage the thoughts that seem to take over at times.  Counseling is also a great preventative treatment and can help your anxiety before it starts getting out of hand. If you are feeling overwhelmed, or worried that anxiety is taking away the best version of you; there is no shame in asking for help.

My clients have found relief with a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. This holistic approach addresses the anxious or negative thoughts that cloud our mind and teaches you to be present physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
